If you are planning to take your General Class Amateur Radio License exam after July 1, 2007, you should study these questions. However, if you are planning to take the exam before then, you should study the question at Current General Class Questions.

To obtain a General Class Amateur Radio License, you must obtain a passing grade on the Elements 1, 2 and 3 examinations. Element 1 is a 5 word per minute morse code exam. Element 2 is the written examination required also for the Technician Class License. Practice exams for Element 2 are under the Technician Class Exam.

The written exam for the General Class Amateur Radio license consists of 35 multiple choice questions from the pool of approximately 430 questions for Element 3. The examination covers FCC regulations, radio technical topics and operating practices.
